XLH UK Community Day 2026

Fun in Manchester! We had a great day filled with insightful talks and reinforced a sense of community built on shared experience.
Our guest speaker Prof Raja Padidela, Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist & Metabolic Bone Diseases, from Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital provided the latest overview on the clinical realities of XLH at different ages. Dr Fiona Kirkham-Wilson from Oxford University shared progress from the RUDY Study, including recent findings on joint stiffness in XLH and unveiled the new-look, streamlined RUDY website for people living with XLH. Children enjoyed face-painting and a 1-metre high dancing robot, whilst we considered how best to stay connected as a community.
