On the weekend of 21st September, I had the pleasure of attending the International XLH Alliance meeting as the XLH UK representative. Our very own Oliver Gardiner is the Co-Chair of IXLHA and was leading the discussions. The alliance is going from strength to strength, joining up XLH patient groups from around the world.

The alliance now has members from 27 countries and we had many of them represented in the room. We had some interesting updates and excellent sharing sessions – learning from each other about how to navigate common challenges and different health systems. Wokingham is not the most exotic location in the world, but as you can see our international friends took the English weather in their stride!
