The 52 people who attended our Family Day on 21^st May were kind enough to bring the sunshine with them, thank you!  From as far afield as Manchester, London and even Belfast, XLHers and their families came to Engineers’ House, Clifton, Bristol, to share their experiences and friendship. From Dr Roy’s informative morning session to Miss Balloonatron’s arrival for the children – it was a cracking day for all ages! 

We were delighted that our amazing fundraiser and marathon runner Jennie McILmail, her family, along with her Battleborn coach JB could share in the day. The moment they handed over their huge cheque was incredible. XLH cannot thank them enough for their incredible efforts and achievements. 

Half of those attending kindly completed our feedback forms to share your comments, and others posted on Facebook. It’s clear that the day was a great success.
